Learn how our SEO methods can boost your online visibility
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and it is an umbrella for a host of things such as Link Building, Content Marketing, On-Page Optimization, Citation Building, and a host of other buzzwords that directly impact your rankings on search engines such as the almighty Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
SEO Encompasses Paid Search, Map Listings (Local Search), and the trusted Organic Search.
Well everyone else has a buzzword why can’t we! SEO going back to 1998 didn’t change that drastically for a decade, build your site, build some links to your site, and watch the traffic flood in. The algorithm got better so you needed not just a host of link but you needed those links from similar sources to your content. If you have a bike repair shop you now needed links from other bike related websites.
Even then it was still fairly simplistic, put the keywords you want to rank for on your site, get the links, and watch the traffic pour in.
Then Google evolved the algorithm again and now it mattered where on your site the keywords are and what the linking text (alt text) to your site was.
This goes on at infinitum it seems so let’s just say SEO became very technical. By that I mean we started looking at class c IP addresses, alt text saturation, keyword effectiveness indexes, and a host of other factors. In the past year, Google has changed that. In the past year we’ve come a long way as to what SEO really is.
SEO used to be about fine tuning a website for search spiders (what I used to call spider food), today's SEO adds components such as social spread and earning links through great content. SEO used to be an isolated part of your marketing, you used to be able to do it once a year or one-time even. Now it’s part of your ongoing strategy.
